There's nothing in the world quite like sports The reasons we love sports are as varied as we are. Personally, I love them for the stories, the drama, and the unbelievable athleticism. I may not know any players, but hearing and reading their interviews increases my interest in the games they play and adds a more fascinating human element to my viewing.

By far, my favorite sport is baseball, and the playoffs have proven to be exciting thus far. Unfortunately, my team of choice, the White Sox, fell far from the goal. Next year doesn't look too promising, either. Speaking of next year, I do somewhat cheer for the Cubs, but y'know... You know.

Of course, there are many sports that interest me to various extents. For instance, if you’re up for playing racquetball, I’m always game. I'll tune in nonchalantly to a football or hockey game and find myself drawn into it more than anticipated.

I may not be the most athletic fella, but I always go hard, playing for the love of the sport. And what beats having a partner at the park, whether tossing a Frisbee or football, catching a baseball, or shooting hoops?
